How far in advance should I book my Crew?


It’s best to let us know as soon as you can to ensure that we’re able to put the best possible crew forward for the day. However we understand events can sometimes sneak up on you, or you suddenly realise you may need a few more staff than first anticipated, so get in touch as we’ll always help with a solution.




How many staff should I hire?


Unfortunately there is no one size fits all answer here. At ACTIV Crew we emphasize that each event is different and unique, and may require more or less staff based on the activity, location and objectives of the campaign. Get in touch and shoot us some more details and we’ll get back to you with a recommendation!




How do you select my Crew?


After speaking with you about your objectives for your brand or event, we set about carefully hand selecting the perfect crew that will represent your brand with enthusiasm and pride. Each one of our staff has been thoroughly checked prior to beginning work with us, we have reviewed their resumes, photos and have also conducted either a face-to-face or skype interview with them. We speak with each staff member over the phone run through the brief and ensure any questions are answered prior to the event so the crew can hit the ground running and well informed.




How do I know your staff will be well trained to represent my brand?


We believe that our staff training is what sets us apart from other staffing agencies. regularly hold fun and engaging training sessions with our Crew to instigate upskilling. Our account managers ensure that at minimum, each staff member is contacted by phone and given an event brief including a quick FAQ about your brand prior to commencement. Many of our clients and brands elect to host a more detailed and in depth paid in-person training session.




Is there a minimum amount of hours to hire a crew?


Casual staff members are required to be paid for a minimum of 3 hours per shift




What are your Crew rates?


Many things can contribute to the overall price and rates of your Crew. We take into account the location, event, venue, hours, set up, roles and specific attributes and skills of the crew selected. We really grind down into the details to ensure we select the perfect crew for your purpose. There is also the opportunity for discounts to be associated with larger or ongoing events or programs. Get in touch and we can break this down for you more specifically for your event.

Can I request specifics within my Crew?


We have such a broad variety of skills and expertise within our crew members, if you require something specific just let us know. Within our crew we have experienced spruikers, mascots, ambassadors – all of whom have individual specialised interests and skills that can be modified to your brand.
